A new event will be held in the north of the country on 13 September: the Nordtreff Fenster Fassade (NFF). We spoke to Marc Nickel, sales manager at Stadur Produktions GmbH & Co. KG and co-organiser of the NFF, in the run-up to the event to find out exactly what the new format is all about. The organisers are keen to offer something for everyone in the industry.

There is a new meeting place for the industry in the north: NFF (Nordtreff Fenster Fassade) is a new format created by a group of 13 companies from the window and facade industry, which will take place for the first time on 13 September 2024 in Brockel – roughly between Hamburg and Bremen.

Admittedly, it has been a few years since the first CNC machines found their way into workshops. But when the component whose shape is machined fully automatically on such a computer-controlled system is 14 metres long and more than 3 metres wide, it makes quite an impression. The side walls of lorry trailers or caravans, for example, can be machined on the largest CNC milling machine at Stadur in Hammah, a small village in the district of Stade.

Sandwich elements are not necessarily the first thing that comes to mind when you think or talk about windows and doors. Yet these products make a major contribution to a functioning building envelope, especially in terms of thermal insulation or sound insulation, for example.

Heiko Minners is less than 30 years old and already a department head in Stadur’s sales department. His professional success is no coincidence, but an expression of the company’s sustainable personnel strategy. “We train skilled workers ourselves to secure our future,” says trainer Juliane Bierstedt. Those who learn here should stay and help shape the company’s success.

Because Alona Hryhoryeva is a conscientious person, the Hamburg native drove to work in Hammah as usual on 24 February 2022. The internal sales representative comes from the Ukraine and is responsible for the sales team at Stadur Produktions GmbH & Co. KG, one of the largest manufacturers of sandwich elements in Europe, for the Eastern European market.
